The Problem of SIN

One danger every human being must be aware of is the danger posed by sin. Sin is very dangerous, but most of the time it looks harmless. The first man and the first woman on earth, Adam and Eve, they were given an instruction, don't touch this fruit, don't eat it.

But the devil came and presented it very well to them and they touched the earth and sin came in. But immediately sin came in, several things happened that very day. Number one, when man had not committed sin, every food he has to eat God has provided for him.

He has free food and doesn't have to sweat to eat. But immediately sin came in, the free food was taken away and man has to look for food to eat. The Bible even said that from the sweat of your face that you are going to eat.

So immediately sin came into the life of a man, the problem of what to eat came in. And from that day even till now we are still looking around for what to eat. Another thing that happened when sin entered into the life of a man is that the garment of glory that they were wearing got disappeared and they have to sow leaves to cover their nakedness.

So that day the problem of what to wear came into the life of a man and even till today we are still facing that problem. So that is why we keep searching, keep looking for what to wear. We wear this one today, we wear that one today, some has clothing, some doesn't have, some has torn clothing and here and all came because of sin.

Before sin came they were wearing the garment of glory. Another thing that happened that very day was that they were sent away from the garden of Eden, the wonderful garden that God created for them, a beautiful place, swimming pools and every other thing. They were sent away and that night they have to look for food, they have to look for a place even to sleep.

From that day forward even till now, the problem of where to stay entered into the life of a man. Until today we are still going here and there looking for where to stay, looking for where to sleep. And another thing that happened on that very day is that the Bible says that you were made from the dust and dust you are going to return to.

Death came in and everything that causes death like sickness, like accident, like calamity, like natural disasters, everything came in that day into the life of a man all because of sin. So when you look at sin very well, sin is the source of every problem that every man is facing today. For as many people that can get rid of the problem of sin they will be able to get rid of all the problems in their lives.

So what is the solution? What is the remedy to this problem of sin? Bible says in Matthew chapter 1 verse 21 that she shall bring forth a son and thou shall call his name Jesus for he shall save his people from their sin. The primary assignment why Jesus came is to save you from that sin, to save you from the power of sin and every problem that sin has brought even into the world. That is why Bible says for as many that have believed him to them he gave power to become the sons of God.

Say God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. When you believe in Christ, when you accept Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Savior, you get redemption from sin. God delivers you from sin.

The blood that Jesus shed on the cross of Calvary will wash away your sin and you become a brand new man. Then you can start living a life that is above the life of sin, that is above the four cardinal problems and other attractions that sin brought even into the life of a man. That's why I'm encouraging you with this short message today my brothers and sisters, accept Jesus into your life so that he can deal with the problem of sin in your life and so that you can have freedom and deliverance from every problem that sin brought into our lives.

How do I accept Jesus Christ into my life? You just believe number one that he is the son of God, believe that he came to die for you, believe that he died on the cross for you, believe that he resurrected on the third day, believe that he's at the right hand of God now praying for you. Then after you believe, you confess with your mouth him as your Lord and Savior. Once you do these two things, then you can be saved even from sin and you can begin to live a brand new life.

If you want to give your life to Christ, just say this prayer after me. Lord Jesus, I thank you today for sending this word to me. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I ask for mercy.

Lord Jesus, forgive my sin, cancel my iniquity, and make me your own. As from today, I reject every other God and I accept you alone as my father, as my God, and as my Savior. Lord Jesus, take control of my life, take absolute charge.

As from today, I will follow your will, I will follow your ways, and I will do what you ask me to do. Save my soul, deliver me from the power of evil, and help me to stay even with you. For in Jesus' mighty name, we are prayed.

Amen. Thank you if you have prayed that prayer. You are being saved even from sin.

It's so simple. That is what Jesus has come to offer you and I. Simple way to get out of big problem. So now that you have accepted Jesus Christ, what next? Just four things to do.

Number one, Jesus has saved you from sin. He has washed away your sin. Stay away from sin as much as possible.

Righteousness exalts a nation. That's what the Bible says. But sin is a reproach to any people.

Blood of Jesus has washed away your sin now, but stay away from sin as much as possible. But if you still mistakenly fall into sin, the blood of Jesus is still there to wash you. You can call on him again and he will wash you again.

That's number one. Number two, you need to start reading the Bible. The Bible is the manual for this new life that you have just received.

Much more than destroying sin in your life, there are so many great benefits that Jesus has come to offer your life. And when you go through the Bible, you are exposed to those benefits so that you can lay claim to those things that Jesus Christ has created for you. Number three, you need to start praying.

Now that you have given your life to Christ, you have become a child of God. You are now a son of God. And as a son, you have access to the father.

You have access to ask him for anything. So you can begin to ask him anything you want. Number four, which is also very important, is you have to look for a Bible-believing church close to your area and start attending.

You can tell them you just gave your life to Christ so that they can teach you the new ways of the kingdom. They can teach you new ways of Christ so that you can live this new life and also see how God will do great and mighty things in your life.
